Cleveland. Hell, who are we kidding? It's been a rough sporting life.
As my friend Todd
Wright said recently, this is the city that has endured The Shot,
The Drive, The Fumble and most recently The
Decision. So it's understandable that folks along the shores of
Lake Erie are still a little raw about things.
Enter this jackass.
Sure he has every right to show up at a Cleveland Indians game
wearing a Miami Heat LeBron James jersey. Just be prepared for the
inevitable reaction.
No matter the time or place, there's
always one guy who insists on poking the bear. And considering how
long it's been since this bear has eaten (not to mention that its
meal ticket just skipped town), maybe it would have been better to
wait.
And lest you think I'm advocating the
fans reaction and the need to have Mr. Jackass escorted out of the
building. I'm not saying they should have humiliated the guy...but
I understand.
